Very good for those thinking about getting a concealed carry permit. Has the very basics.
Good info book.
I felt it was good instructional material. It gave me insight to different guns and made me realize that I may have bought the wrong gun. I have an SCCY 9 millimeter ,New from a new manufacturer. I do like it and feel comfortable with it.
There's a lot of useful information in this little book. However, if someone wants to instruct others on any subject it behooves him to use correct terminology. To refer to the chambers in a revolver's cylinder as "cylinders" is a major faux pas sure to confuse the novice. Otherwise, basically o.k.
I have just read as much as the first chapter and a bit regarding "summer carry" of a Glock 19.
The example regarding Native Americans comes across as careless and crass. This view of history is about as honest as the statement, “The Atlantic Slave Trade between the 1500s and 1800s brought millions of workers from Africa to the southern United States to work on agricultural plantations,” found in a Texas history textbook.
I do hope that these lapses of judgement are limited to this. For me, it creates a question regarding credibility.
It is an easy read.
Hopefully, I'll be responsible and provide a full review once completed.

It got better and serves as a decent primer for those new to conceal carry. The book does a good job presenting different opinions/approaches and reasoning behind author's preference.
Consistency would be improved from more editing. For example, the use of both adrenalin and adrenaline.
